Matriculation

Brawerman Elementary School East graduates attend top Los Angeles secondary schools, and we guide and support your family throughout the application process.

The elementary school years are an incredible time of growth for your child. Personalities blossom, passions develop, and talents take shape. By the time students are in Grade 6, they are poised and ready to take on secondary school, eager and prepared for new experiences and opportunities.

We approach the secondary school application process with a child development lens, harnessing the age-appropriate learning opportunities.

Students develop interview skills, deepen their ability to articulate thoughts and feelings, and learn to write on-demand. This exposure in our safe learning space allow students to feel seen, supported, and confident as they make transition the transition to secondary school, while gaining important life skills that they will carry with them to college and beyond.

Brawerman East's Head of School, Gillian Feldman, supports families throughout the secondary school process, which begins in Grade 5. From narrowing down your list of schools to student interview practice, our Grade 6 students and their parents have guidance at every step of the way.
