Brawerman East offers private tours for parents. During your tour, you will learn about our academic program and specialists classes, meet students and teachers, and see our classrooms in action.

EVENTS: We also invite you to attend a variety of group events to help you get to know our school, programs, students, parents, and more! Invitations will be sent to those who tour, fill out our Learn More form, and/or complete an application. 

PARENT AMBASSADORS: After your tour, we will connect you with a Brawerman East parent ambassador. Our parent ambassadors are happy to speak with you, giving you an opportunity to ask questions and learn about the Brawerman experience from the parent perspective.

ONLINE APPLICATION: Complete and submit an online  application on our admissions portal, along with the non-refundable $150 application fee.  

ADDITIONAL REQUIRED FORMS: Once you have applied, you will share the LAIS Preschool-Kindergarten recommendation form with your child's current school. The form will be returned directly to us.

After we receive your completed application, you will be invited to a parent conversation. We ask that both parents (where appropriate) be present for this meeting. This 45-minute meeting allows us to learn more about your child and family, in addition to providing you an opportunity to ask questions about our school's programs.

KINDERGARTEN APPLICATION PLAYDATE: After you have applied, we will schedule an informal playdate for your child in February. These playdates will take place in a friendly group setting with our Kindergarten teachers, where they will engage in fun and age-appropriate activities. This playdate helps our teachers get to know your child, allowing them to better understand how they learn and where they are in their learning and developmental journey.

PRESCHOOL OBSERVATION: Our Admissions Director and one of our educators will also visit your child's preschool for a short observation. Sometimes new surroundings and teachers during the Kindergarten Application Playdate can be overwhelming for four and five-year-olds, so we include this observation so that we can see your child where they are most comfortable!

Decision letters for the 2026-2027 school year will be emailed in March 2026 with enrollment agreements due back one week later.

Applicants for Grade 1 through 5 spend a day on campus with us! Visiting students are paired up with a buddy and join their current grade-level peers in the classroom for a day of fun, learning, and friendship. They will experience morning meeting, literacy and math blocks, recess, and a variety of specialists classes, such as Science & Innovation, Visual Arts, Music, P.E., and Hebrew. Visiting days take place in January and February.
