Our Campus

Brawerman Elementary School East is located on the historic Erika J Glazer Campus of Wilshire Boulevard Temple. A complete renovation of the school building and campus were completely renovated in 2015, with state-of-the-art classrooms and a rooftop athletic complex.

Homeroom Classrooms:

Brawerman's spacious classrooms are filled with natural light, equipped with Smartboards and ergonomic seating that is both traditional and flexible. Flexible seating options support the whole child, while optimizing their ability to learn new information. Kindergarten students also benefit from having their own in-class bathrooms, while students in Grades 1 through 6 have connected small-group workspaces that house classroom technology devices and grade-level libraries.  

Specialist Classrooms:

Students in Kindergarten through Grade 6 take full advantage of the facilities provided in our specialists classrooms.

  • Innovation Lab and Maker Space - equipped with a 3D and laser printers, robotics and circuitry equipment, woodworking tools, and more
     
  • Science Lab - high-school level lab desks equipped with sinks and microscopes
     
  • Art Studio - equipped with a kiln and artist-grade materials
     
  • Music Studio - features a Smartboard, violins, ukuleles, recorders, and percussion instruments
     
  • Library - elementary school library and research lab; provides multi-use space for parent education, small-group work, and one-on-one learning sessions
     
  • Hebrew Classroom - dedicated language lab equipped with Smartboard technology

Outdoor Spaces:

  • Rooftop Athletic Complex - soccer/football field, basketball/volleyball court, gaga pit, outdoor lunch facilities, and bathrooms
     
  • Playground - play structure to support gross-motor development, basketball court, handball court, soccer nets, and Imagination Playground blocks; coming soon...rock climbing wall!
     
  • Geodesic Greenhouse - built by students in Grades 5 and 6, our greenhouse is used as an outdoor learning space to teach students about environmental science
