Mission Statement

Wilshire Boulevard Temple is a Reform Jewish congregation that values tradition and innovation. Our mission is to lead our members to a deeper love of Torah, God, Israel, and Tikkun Olam (social justice). Through our schools, camps, programs and worship, we foster a warm and embracing congregation that is inclusive. We provide each of our members the opportunity to experience the joy and meaning of Jewish life.

Brawerman Elementary School is a reform Jewish school with the highest academic standards where students learn Jewish values, personal responsibility, a contemporary understanding of our Torah tradition, Hebrew, and the relationship of the Jewish people to Israel.

We are committed to providing a nurturing community, a state-of-the-art facility, a dynamic curriculum, and an integrated approach to Jewish and secular studies, all with unique opportunities to learn about and participate in the arts and sports.

Our goal is to prepare sutdents to participate successfully in an ever-changing global society as responsible citizens shaped by their cherished Jewish identity and traditions.
